Alan had always been working towards Thinkstation. From an early age he worked in metal fabrication and as a draughtsman in an architectural design consultancy. He then attended Industrial Design courses in both I.T Sligo and I.T Carlow respectively.

Philip had started by completing a mechanical and electrical apprenticeship before becoming an electrical contracts foreman. Although already experiencing great success, Philip gravitated towards the print industry in which his wife had established a leading digital print company. A quite dramatic change but one he certainly does not regret.

Meanwhile Alan was earning vital experience through employment in both the manufacturing and exhibition industries. The pair would eventually cross paths through a mutual associate. Bringing different skill sets to the table but sharing similar values & a strong work ethic is the key to Thinkstation's ability to deliver.
